PostSubject: Okay there is no need to explain this film, it explains itself.   stals unithread - Page 6 Icon_minitimeSun Jun 26, 2011 3:51 pm

Saw this last night and it should still be showing on cable as a repeat over the next few days so maybe give it a look. Talks about the sun taking us out with EM and the grid going down, mobile phones etc dont work. Made in Australia I have to say this is an excellent film to see for the times we are in now.

one for the soma-moog

dunno if you're still on your SG-1 trip, but this one will most definately tickle your fancy.

Series 8, episode 8 (cue spooky music)

a very obvious richard branson (with a bit of ben rich) character blows the whistle on the sg black-ops, even clones an asgard grey. 'The Trust' (NID) try to assassinate him, so the 'good guys' dissapear him off-world to continue his work, which included building parts and critical systems for the F-302 hybrid attack jets (part stealth fighter, part g'ould death glider. Looks kinda triangular...)

One of my fav eps, up there with 'wormhole x-treme' and '200'.

I believe we are being told everything now only its through the medium of film or series.

There is that series Falling Skies on Fox8 soon, a Spielberg creation which states that the ETs are after the kids. Then that film I saw Knowing with an Australian director, the ETs actually took the kids that could hear them and transported them to another world. So it is not a stretch that a lot of the special kiddies might be getting transplanted somewhere else.

I saw that film the Box last night with Cameron Diaz, maybe I was tired but I didnt follow a lot of that film, it wasnt a likeable one for me.

Zorg used to drop a few names on the QT of people who had disappeared but actually got transported off world somewhere else, I believe it is quite mundane now with the tech they have, very blaze. It is just that most of us folk arent privileged to accessing the jump rooms etc.

BTW Stal, saw Conspiracy Theory with Jesse the Man Ventura on the 9/11. If only he could become president only some of the arseholes would take him out.

If the timeline comes down to that big droning sound and the mothership having landed and scout ships roaming around, while a lot of the people will be running around like chooks, others non-believing and yet others trying to make friends and begging to be taken away, I wont be doing any of that.

I will calmly travel where my intuition tells me (if I am still here) and take my furry friends and enough food and water; I aint making friends with anyone anywhere unless I am certain I want to.

I have had an idea for a while where I want to go and bunker down but a lot of things have to fall into place for that happen.

Note to self: Get some type of firearm, even if it does no good, one good shot before I depart I believe will be worth it.

Am watching Stal and have noted the references you mentioned, where there is smoke..........

I am really excited about 7.30 on Thursdays Conspiracy Theory with Jesse. I forget what channel it is on though, I think it could be NatGeo, I am not sure. I just surf and find it. Everything is in those episodes. Last week David Corso and Duncan were interviewed.

am watching deep impact. A few random observations.

One of the astronauts is played by john favreau, who directed iron man, and the upcoming cowboys vs aliens.

Frodo's girlfriend is played by lelee sobieski, who played the underage girl sleeping with japanese businessmen in eyes wide shut, which was directed by kubrick, who had a hand in the fake parts of the moon landing footage.

The program that the messiah ship was based on was called orion.

-------

and what was it von braun said? After terrorism, and before the fake alien invasion comes the asteroid threat...

PostSubject: Re: stals unithread   stals unithread - Page 6 Icon_minitimeSun Aug 14, 2011 9:10 am

got another tv show worth checking out.

Sanctuary.

Its made by the same people that made Stargate SG-1/Atlantis, and stars amanda tapping, who played colonel sam carter on stargate.

Started out as an average creature-feature, monster of the week type show, but as it progressed it has become quite interesting, going into ancient cilvilisations, hollow earth, hidden history, advanced tech and so on.

The main twist is the use of characters al la league of extrordinary gentlemen.
Amanda tapping plays helen magnus, the real life sherlock holmes, and others include dr watson, jack the ripper, the invisible man, dr jekyl and nikola tesla.

The back story is that they were all friends, and monster hunters/researchers. Upon being exposed to 'source blood' (vampire blood, vampires being the previous dominant advanced cvilisation earth in pre-history) they all develop powers.

The invisible man gets his invisiblity, jack the ripper can teleport, dr jekyl becomes mr hyde, dr watson becomes a super genious, and magnus becomes immortal. Tesla is the most intersting, because he is a direct decendant of the vampyris race, and becomes a vampire of sorts, and seeing as vamps were super advanced, thats where all his ideas come from.

Now the twist is that the show is set in the modern day, as they all live much longer than normal. Magnus runs the sanctuary, a place that tracks/rescues/looks after (etc) 'abnormals', mutants, cryptids, monsters, refugees from praxis (hollow earth) and so on.

By the end of season two its pretty good, and season three is great. Ascended beings, time travel, lots of hollow earth (or rather honeycomb earth) and other stuff.

One episode in particular, when i saw it, i felt like i had been punched in the stomach.

aahh fantasia...good stuff.

-------

am watching sucker punch again right now. There are so many things on so many levels i wont even bother trying to write it up yet. It almost hurts my head to watch it. More so than inception.

-------

why aren't i doing this for a living? Dunno. I only review stuff that i either enjoy or see something that needs to be recorded. To make a living i'd have to watch/read/listen to all kinds of crap that holds no importance or relevance. A lot of the time i only do this to make a public record of things 'they' put out there to circumvent the free-will loophole.

-------

biggz, back to the box. Yes i found parts of it unsettleing also. Did you notice that the black-ops guys at the end were guests at the wedding. I dont mean the 'employees', i mean the actual soldiers. They are everywhere in the background. Interesting factoid, the director richard kelly (donnie darko) based the main characters on his real parents. His dad actualy worked on thee viking mission. Apparently there are one or two scenes in the movie that show nasa/dod facilities that have never been filmed before. The film crew had to be vetted and escorted whilst getting some shots. Also, when the husband 'chooses a door' and goes into the 'water', there was a long sequence filmed showing what actualy happens there, but was cut, and supposedly 'lost', along with a few other scenes, so there will never be a directors cut edition. Same thing happened with event horizon (which was loosely based on the montauk/philadelphia experiment). 20 minutes of that movie were cut and destroyed. Again with eyes wide shut. Cut and destroyed.

Makes you wonder why...

ok its raining here, so i'm flicking through the satellite channels looking for a movie to watch.

I see one called 'the killing room'. Blah i thought, another movie about people in a room solving puzzles and being killed off one by one. Read the description, it mentions the term 'covert program'. Sounding more interesting. Look at the cast. Timothy hutton, peter stormare, chloe sevigny, clea duvall. Proper actors. Btw, look up peter stormare. Every single movie hes in has something in it to take note of.

I put it on. Its about MK Ultra in modern day. MKultra is specificaly mentioned. Identifying and conditioning civilians for 'suicide missions'.

It only shows phase one of a four phase program. At the end the newest scientist asks the boss
'how many are there?'
'civilian weapons? I dont know, its classified.'

Too many little things in this movie for it to be completely made up. Way too many.

You only ever see the boss, his new assitant, the test subjects and a couple of masked techs. But...in the background you can hear the unseen black-ops guys talking to each other on headsets, all the way through the movie. They refer to each other using a specific alpha-numeric identifier. I am familiar with this specific identifier.

it came on again last night. Watched the start, which i had missed. There was a written preamble about MKUltra before the opening credits.

-------

also, sci-fi channel is playing re-runs of the classic tom baker dr who years. Double eps every day. The last two days have been 'the pyramids of mars'. Set gets released from his prison and fights the doctor. Some interesting lines.

watched the last ep of torchwood miracle day on the weekend.

Interesting. Looks to be set up to become an american series now. Most of the cast are americans, and the end obviously sets it up for continuing in some form. The '3 families' are moving on to plan B for world domination.

Fun fact - skip skolnick (sp?) co-creator of the X-Files is working on the show now.
