i was prompted to put a bandage over the camera built
into my mac ... it WAS just staring at me ... i never used
it for webcaming or anything ... i pulled out the mac
because the pc i was on was soooooo slow and downright
non responsive, that i had to see if it was the comp or
my connection ... then i called the isp ... they gave me some
gobbledy gook overloaded trunk doubletalk ... i said "listen sonny,
i been on my comp connected to internet everday since '94 ....
i just wanna make sure you know there is a problem and that
you are working on it ..."

so last night i got a taste of what it might be like if i booted
up and the internet was down ... for whatever reason ... because, well,
it WAS down for me in those moments ....

oh, and guess what? i snatched kitty #2 from under the stairs
this afternoon - i think #1 was happy to see him, they're sleeping
in a box now, on my purple cashmere sweater, which when washed
in a machine is now way too tight, but it makes a great bed for
itty bitty kitties

I know what you mean when you cant get on to that highway, cant instantly connect with friends or look for something on there, damn annoying.
