| The mexican government made a deal with the mayan people to basically use this site as a tourist attraction. In return they pay no tax and get many things free and electricity at half price! The mayan people are very short. This lady is 87 years old and still selling these little nicknacks for $1.00 Now this lady was selling the same nicknack. My buddy had said no to the lady with her arm on her hip. Yet he bought one from the lady in red. The first lady was not impressed!!! The mayan sell silver that they engrave your name in mayan letters. They have a copyright on doing this. This is a typical mayan woman in their home village going to get corn to make into Tortillas, I was told. | |

| Jerry you are correct that these two artifacts are inside the temple. They were what was damaged when the idiots went inside and caused havoc. This distruction was why the ropes were put up all around and no one is allowed in or on the buildings. Glad you enjoyed the pics Bigsy. | |
