WASHINGTON - The Senate has overwhelmingly approved a resolution that reaffirms U.S. efforts to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon and says containment of a nuclear-capable Iran is not an option.
By a vote of 90-1 early Saturday, the Senate backed the nonbinding measure that specifically states that it should not been interpreted as an authorization for the use of military force or a declaration of war.
Passage of the resolution comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pressed Washington to spell out what would provoke a U.S.-led military strike against Iranian nuclear facilities. The Senate acted in the final hours before Congress broke for its weekslong recess.
The measure was introduced months ago by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman. It endorses continued economic and diplomatic pressure on Tehran until it agrees to suspension of its uranium enrichment program in compliance with U.N. Security Council resolutions, co-operates with international inspectors and reaches a permanent agreement that its program is for peaceful purposes.
Republican Sen. Rand Paul, who cast the only "no" vote, had spoken out against the resolution as an excuse for the use of military force.
I don't like where this is going folks.

Senate Votes 90-1 Declaration Of War: “A De-Facto Declaration Of War” Against Iran – Rand Paul
Before It’s News – by Live Free or Die Isn’t it nice that our Senate ‘leaders’ have decided upon a “de-facto declaration of war” against Iran, according to Senator Rand Paul. We’ve been warned over and over again by knowledgeable sources such as the LA Times and Family Security Matters that Iran has sleeper cells thoughout the US just waiting to unleash un-holy Armageddon upon Americans should we launch an attack against them. From the LA Times story linked above:
” Iranian terrorist cells inside the U.S. have weapons, explosives, money and safe houses; they use contacts with Mexican and Latin American drug cartels to smuggle explosives and weapons into the U.S.”
“They have very detailed information about sensitive sites such as bridges, railroads, airports, military bases, power plants, nuclear sites, water plants, railway stations,” he says.
“If the U.S. or Israel attacked Iran, he says, sleeper cells inside the U.S. would launch suicide bombings and sabotage. Iran would attack Israel and U.S. bases in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf.”

I don't like how this is going either. Iran is best buddies with Russia and China and once those 2 get involved, ....... well kabooooommm.
Why do you think martial law is getting a strong hold all over the western world? It's to control the few (in global terms) who are fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to survive ww3.
Fema camps abound. They don't build these things for no reason. It's all been planned many years ago and now is the time to put all that into place and make use of the camps.
What better way to take everyone's freedom, homes, lives etc. away.
Enjoy life as you know it, cos it ain't gonna get any better, that's for sure.

Great report mic, also nice response Sky, I agree with you both.....the only peace I have in this is that things happen because they are written, and the writer is our Father.....the back of the book says we win, they lose......

At least some generals in NATO are not supporting a no fly zone over Syria, so something to be thankful for. If only a few more big boys take the hint, then all this can be averted.
Fingers, toes and eyes crossed. xxx

Really sad news, we all kind of knew this was coming. Brace ourselves because things might get real ugly soon.
