WITH THE Symmes Theory of Concentric Spheres we take up, for the first time, a cosmogony of the nineteenth century. In this flight through worlds we have spanned not only the centuries but the oceans and continents of the Earth. We are in the year of our Lord, 1818, in America, and at St. Louis, Missouri, on the western bank of the mightiest river of the Earth. We are on the continent whose aboriginal inhabitants have, running through all their mythologies and traditions, the tradition and myth of a "hollow Earth," and we are about to consider, in their order, three modern American theories of the figure of Earth, all of them based on the assumption that this planet is a hollow sphere, habitable within.

A brief circular announced the first of these:

as to how old the understanding of a hollow earth --- I found some amazing points in the first few paragraphs - but before I share that, Id like to draw your memory back to the videos posted of where the Hopi and Dine'h or Navajo had come out of the inner earth.

I remember thinking then that this is proof too of an inner earth or hollow earth.

what I read next made me realize and give thanks for this trail that the Creator had led me on - because it had, just like our teaching say, brought all the fibers together and rewove them in a strong braid. (cherokee)

I remembered to my own algonquin foster mother teaching me how all things were a circle and many circles within a circle. I was taken outside and we blew bubbles with her husband and her grandson. This reminds me of the earth'', I was told.

The bubbles danced in the breeze and shone brightly with the sun - yes I thought circles within circles this is all of life.

I remember that teaching as if it was yesterday and so when I read this in the book I knew that our people had learned this a long time ago and carried it with us .....

But it is interesting to consider that three "concave" cosmogonies have sprung up within less than a century on this continent whose aborigines believed in the hollowness of their "great Island." The Montagnais held the earth to be pierced through and through; that the Sun set by entering one hole and hiding inside the Earth during the night; that it rose by emerging from the opposite hole. Numberless tribes have the tradition that formerly their race lived underground, until some adventurous youth climbed upwards by some great vine to the outer surface of the Earth, and, finding it delightful and habitable, returned and brought their people out of the "concave." Indian gods fell from Heaven, through the Earth; and vanished races were those who had returned to their first homes. How much of this Symmes had picked up through fraternising with the western Indians, or whether he had ever heard any of this tradition from them, we shall probably never know.

Thank you Day for adding so much research to this topic. It is nice to share info with others that are on the same journey of investigation.

It is one of those things in life that may seem like a stretch at first, but when you look into it, it starts to make more sense.

One thing I am struggling with.....the inhabitants of the inner earth are said to be giants.


This brings up the word nephilim again.

This is interesting also....

In Aramaic culture, the term Nephila specifically referred to the constellation of Orion, and thus Nephilim to Orion's semi-divine descendants (cf. Anakim from Anak);[14] the implication being that this also is the origin of the Biblical Nephilim.

I see Day you already started a thread. Good! Now let's expand on this. Are these giants the same as the inhabitants of the hollow earth? Are we being told that they are evil, but in reality they are not?

Certainly the giants that were seen in the hollow earth stories do not fit the above description. They were said to be gentle loving giants. Are they the descendants of the Nephilim, but have grown spiritually to become loving beings?

This would compare to oz as origionally it was a place for Britain to send their criminals and outcasts.

here's my take on this --- its good to go through the book of Enoch while
we bring the evidence we find to the thread
but not limit our search to only the book of Enoch, there are many other
legends as you have found already about the race of people living in
the Earth. :feather:

What I am seeing is that - yes there were very evil giants because there are
stories in our legends about them. Our legends are not wrong. We also have
stories about different kinds of people living in the earth that are good kind
and very close to the Creator- they are part bird and have a beautiful way of
singing/talking and are very sensitive. RedElk talks about them :feather:


so why not follow this road and go down all the off roads and back road and some
of the main highways in our search to see what we can find and bring it here to the
thread for our examination...and see what we can come up with --
we may (more than likely) surprise ourselves ! :feather:

i came across this C2C interview with Steve Quayle GIANTS 12-3-08

In the second half of the interview, he talked about his latest research into giants (see accompanying image). Quayle alleged that shadowy elements of the government are keeping giants in suspended animation at secret labs in order to study their genetics. According to his sources, the body temperature of the giants "runs around 120 to 130 degrees" and that "these guys can go 40 miles per hour in two steps."

Quayle was later joined by an anonymous pilot who claimed to have transported a dead giant, shot by the military, while stationed in Afghanistan. He estimated that the creature was "12 feet tall, give or take" and "around 1,100 pounds." The pilot noted that the being had six fingers on each hand and its feet were adorned with "rudimentary shoes" made of canvas. According to what his superiors told him, the giant body was eventually "transloaded back to a base in Ohio."

From the same place (La Mana, Ecuador) a strange, pyramid-like stone with a “divine eye” in the uppermost part, which phosphoresces in the dark under ultraviolet light. A whole special section of the exhibition (CHAMBER OF LIGHTS) showed more objects from La Mana with this characteristic attribute.

Oh, not the giants that Steve talks about.

It is the 3 or 4 stories I've read about people that have entered the hollow earth, through the poles. Admiral Byrd, Olaf Jannsen, et al. The couple of stories on the first page of this thread.

They speak of the people that live there as giants living in harmony with nature. Living in abundance not luxury.
