i have given up on the "date" thing
as pertains to coming events of any type....

i have decided it is more accurate for me
to go with impressions and feelings, which
are fluid and changeable, depending on what i
learn....

i want to "be ready" sooner rather than later
and that is my goal for whatever happens, on
whatever date, by whomever.... so many variables

I agree with you winehippie. I also go by my impressions first. I posted this article because it more or less is what I expect to happen and when.

Since the Mayan calendar is in fact a circle, all that will happen at the end of the Long Count is the next turn of the wheel will begin a new cycle... same way we go from Dec 31st to Jan 1st every year

I agree with nogroz. It is the start of another cycle. But the article makes it clear according to a current Mayan elder that the date we need to watch for is October 28, 2011. And this date has more significance for us as people than the 2012 date.

The 2011 date has specifically to do with the world tree cycle of frequency and this date pertains to the Spirit realm and the matrix of all things.
