2012 increasing Shuman Resonance - Catastrophe or Ecstasy

"Adrian Gilbert + Maurice Cotterel in their book "The Mayan Prophecies" say that the end of the 13-baktun cycle of the Maya Long Count Calendar is the culmination of a series of long-term sunspot cycles,which will flip the suns magnetic field and thus that of the earth too,causing earthquakes and worldwide flooding.

Moreover,the changing magnetic field will alter the endocrine-hormone production of the pineal + other endocrine glands.The sunspot cycle reaches its maximum approx. every 11 years + then sunspot activity switches to the opposite hemisphere of the sun.The recent maximum was due in March to April 2000, + the following one was therefore expected to be in 2011.However,the maximum didnt occur until Febuary 2001,so the following one is expected in 2012.

Over the last 15 years we have seen a continual escalation of solar activity,with ever larger x-ray flares,record-breaking coronal mass ejections,and solar storms that have caused the northern lights to descend further + further south.

When the last cycle finally peaked in 2001,George Withbroe,Science Director of NASAs Sun-Earth Connection Programme said "This is a unique solar maximum in history.The images and the data are beyond the wildest expectations of the astronomers of a generation ago".

After the solar maximum,the activity continued with a record=breaking X-20 solar flare on the 2nd April,2001.The northern lights,or aurora borealis,usually only seen in the arctic circle,were seen as far south as North Carolina,but by June 2001 a solar storm caused them to be seen as far down as Mexico.In 2002 there was the most complex Coronal Mass Ejection ever recorded.In 2003 we had a record-breaking 9 major solar eruptions in the space of 12 days,+ then,on 4 November 2003 there was the largest solar flare ever recorded.

The combination of the Sun-Moon-Earth alignment with the 11 year sunspot cycle maximum,and the earths north magnetic pole pointing to the sun hasnt happened for 65 million years,the result being that the earths magnetic field will collapse + reverse.Jazz Razaal gave a talk in 2001 in which he pointed out that we are currently experiencing the most active solar cycle since records began
