Sky-question for you--I am at my friends and just cut off the seed pods from arugula that went to flower. i took a pic and will post when i go home. Can I dry them and plant them? If so how and when? Thanks.

Louise

arugula isn't on my list ..but i sure wouldn't be afraid to try
however
on most of the plants..if the seeds aren't 'ripe'..you are wasting your time
maybe your pic will help

if the seeds in the pod are still green..i don't think drying will help..but you can try

i have cut off foxglove where half of the seed pods were ready and half are still green and let thegrren parts dry in the sun on newspaper
and some times they will ripen and sometimes they won't... I dunno

mostly you just have to keep at it and harvest the seeds when THEY are ready
