It's time to share my story. It began in 1983. I left work in the evening to go pick up my young son from my Aunt. As I drove down the parkway, I noticed very bright lights above. At first I thought it was a plane at an angle where the lights were pointing towards me. As I continued driving, I noticed they were not moving across the sky as normal planes do. It is late rush hour, with lots of traffic very close to NYC in an urban area.
I continued off the parkway to my exit. There are trees and buildings obscuring my vision as I drive. I can still see the lights. I continue down the road with lights still in my view, about a mile or 2. I finally pull over and get out of the car. It is a crystal clear spring evening. What I saw I will never forget. (remember, I am on an urban street, and cars are driving past)
I am shaking as I write this. Hovering above in the sky was a HUGE boomerang shaped craft. It was clearly visible against the night sky, and it blocked out much of the sky. It was most definitely boomerang shaped with bright white lights across the front. As I stood there looking up, it made NO SOUND, it just hung there.
I wasn't really scared just amazed. I thought; "what should I do? There's a Police Station just down the block---and I thought if I run in there they will think I'm crazy". So after a few minutes, I got back in my car and proceeded to get my son. Then I went home to tell my husband. The reactions I got were luke warm, as no one really believed me.
Fast forward a year or two. One Sunday morning I decided to buy the New York Times---there was an article written by a couple of researchers about a boomerang shaped UFO with mass sightings over the area. (I still have the original news article) I was able to contact the researchers and report my sighting. Little did I know at the time, that there were mass sightings in the area and a book called "Night Seige" The Hudson Valley Sightings: http://www.amazon.com/Night-Siege-Hudson-Valley-Sightings/dp/156718362X/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1274621352&sr=1-5
I got to meet Philip Imbrogno and attend his workshops. He and his colleagues have been doing this research for many years. Here's one video, more to follow:

This important to watch, as Phil talks about the stone chambers--which I will elaborate more. I met him in the 80's--no internet. It was then he suggested his research about the stone chambers being inter-dimensional portals. Phil is a scientist with several impressive degrees and has always done his work from a scientific viewpoint---since the beginning his views have shifted== more to follow.

Philip Imbrogno has been investigating and researching paranormal phenomenon for over thirty years. He has a BA degree in astronomy from the University of Texas, a BS degree in Earth Science from Northeastern/ Boston College and a Masters degree in chemistry from M.I.T. He has been a science educator for the past twenty five years and has authored countless magazine articles on science and the paranormal and has appeared or done research for a number of major television presentations on UFOs, astronomy and the paranormal.
UFO investigator for over thirty years, Philip Imbrogno discussed the Hudson Valley sightings of the 1980s, as well as hidden connections between UFOs and other unexplained phenomena. Working with the renowned J. Allen Hynek, he investigated the Hudson Valley cases which began around 1983, and were accompanied by a host of paranormal phenomena.
A triangular craft larger than a football field, referred to as a "city in the sky," was repeatedly seen moving silently over the Hudson Valley by witnesses from all walks of life, said Imbrogno. The UFO was seen shining a bright beam of light down on individual cars and houses-- later, people who came into contact with the light reported contact or abduction experiences, he noted.
A similar UFO flew over the Indian Point Nuclear Plant and was the subject of a police investigation, he detailed. He also discussed unusual caves with magnetic anomalies, and beings known as the jinn. Arabic belief suggests that the jinn (or genies) are harmful interdimensional creatures that can take on many shapes.
Here's Phil with Noory on Coast to Coast: This continues on, if you double click on the video it will bring you to youtube where you can view the entire interview. It's quite amazing and Phil is great to listen to. He has authored several books and talks about some very interesting aspects.

Thanks for the links Louise.
You may want to read this thread as I think they are related. Especially the Newgrange mound in Ireland. Linda and Tom have recently visited there. Which you may have known.

Thanks Mic. So much is unfolding now, so many synchronicities. What I also find synchronistic is my attraction to Anastasia and Ringing Cedars. There are similar stone chambers in Russia. Maybe later I will go photograph the one nearby.

Thanks for sharing your story Louise.
Have you seen the latest David Wilcock video? If you can get past the fact he loves to talk about himself there is a percentage of interesting material including ancient sites harnessing energy. Eg Menhirs, Dolmens, Barrows etc.

It's amazing you bring up the stone chambers Louise, they've been an interest of mine since I first heard about them. What I didn't realise is that they have recently discovered some in my state. It was one of the things I want to do on my next trip to visit them. They are not highly publisized so I'm following clues on the brief article I've seen about them and have a good idea where they are.

Peek a boo! Sorry we've had a three day nasty 90 plus and humid spell and I refuse to use the airconditioners. So I've been outdoors as much as possible seeking shelter in the woods.
We had a violent storm last night and I watched a bolt of lightning hit about 20 feet in front of me not touching the ground just ending about 8 feet above it. It was a wild night! The temperature dropped 40 plus degrees in less than a half an hour.
I'm checking out your link right now Louise! Thanks mic yes I'm in Vermont!
Okay UPDATE: The first picture in your link in almost identical to the one I learned about here expect it was hidden in the side of a small rock cliff.
