Do you think tptb are desensitizing the general public for the announcement maybe; if so they have been doing it for years through films, docos etc.

The history channell is amazing lately.
Today was a great example.
First a show on planets showing how life exists in everything even in comletely arid conditions. Microbes living in rocks for millions of years that live of the little bit of moisture in the atmosphere. etc
Then an episode of the Nostradomas effect, stating prophecy, etc
Then a show about the underworld of cities. Todays was showing how the US has a bunker system prepared for disaster purposes. They actually showed the inside of the one built in West Virginia, to house the government elite. This one has been upgraded to another unknown site, (probably Denver airport imo), so they didn't mind the cameras showing this one.

History Channel is a business and they would be foolish not to focus on this topic as it's where everyone's attention is. Still it's good to hear that someone is tackling this subject on cable TV.
