weeks ago, when plans were firming up for sam
to visit here and sis to take train to see her son and
his lil family, my part was chauffeur to train and plane...
airport runs were in middle of the day, but train runs
were in the dark... and i do NOT like driving in the dark
anymore... i was crossing my fingers that driving weather
would be clear, as in no rain or ice or snow... my
windshield wipers are shot, forget about snow tires or
chains

imagine my relief when i completed my runs this morning...
***
i went to the post tonight for the monthly birthday potluck,
got home a bit ago... put jammies on, there is a fire going,
and just now - shazaam - a pretty good size snow flurry -
the ground is white, the windows are trimmed, the wind is
blowing...
***
so, this is a public thank you to the universe for the timing
on this first snow of the season... i am grateful

BTW, I cant drive at night as well, have to be very careful and I will if I have to but don't like doing it.
