Like Monster's INC for example. When the city/government in the film are facing an energy crisis they employ monsters to scare children to capture their screams that literally powers the city. So it's in your face, the government is feeding off fear.

Nice posting, and I too believe at times, for what ever reasons, there have been select controling power groups that HAVE (past tense) ENJOYED... keeping down the masses by what ever means possible. AND yet, now, little by little, and MORE AND MORE.... I see THE MASSES TAKING MORE AND MORE OWNERSHIP for CO-CREATING OUR COLLECTIVE LIVES!!

I believe "most of us" (and especially me) have been taught to LOOK FOR and COMPLY with all the "proper" PAST AUTHORITY FIGURES (Parents, teachers, preachers, Mass Media, Police, Governing bodies, and or past ideas of a "controlling" GOD).... for the ANSWERS/DIRECTIONS in/on "how to live" 4 long "enough"!!

And due to "enough" of US... all desiring MORE HEALTHIER SELF GOVERNING & SELF RESPECTFUL HARMONISTIC RELATIONSHIPS...... the "few controling the masses".. WILL ALSO SEE... (in time)... that "sharing the SELF governing" process LIGHTENS THE LOAD UP.... ON ALL OF US... because LESS AND LESS DIS-AGREEMENT IS POSSIBLE ... when MORE AND MORE OF US ARE TAKING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR HOW TO SELF GOVERN OUR COLLECTIVE SELF!!

Anywho... I love the POST and LOVE the HAPPY ENDINGS related to "BUG" movies, where more HARMONISTIC VALUES and CO-OPERERATION typically always comes after a more "controlling" governing experience!!!
