I see Raulduke has his 27th birthday in about a week. You were born the same year I had my youngest son Matt, 1982, year of the dog. Now that certainly puts things in a new light for me. Mmmmmh.
Happy birthday pet. Big hugs. xxoo

Gosh, thanks everybody. Makes a guy feel ! Glad to see you again Biggs.
I had forgotten that my birthday would show up on the front page. Thanks loads to Reunite for dropping me an email with the link, I'd hate to have accidentally snubbed you all. Sorry I haven't been around much, I really miss the intelligent discussion and genuine care you all provide.
Things have been sorta strange for me the past few months. Prior to then, my day to day life had been pretty well scripted for far too long: work-home-play etc.... Recently though I've been trekking around the country like I used to years ago, following an old favorite band that just reunited after a 5 year hiatus. It's been great for replenishing the part of my soul that my old job robbed from me, hehe. After the tour ended I decided to stay in Alpine Valley camping solo for a few days witch turned into about 2 weeks. I went fishing every morning (camped next to a real honey hole, plenty o' fish! Negotiated my way out of a no license ticket too, had to buy the license though) and hiked countless miles every day. Just me and Wondermutt, oh yeah, lots of frisbee too!
The night I got home a tree fell on my brothers house right over my room and blocked my jeep in the driveway. I felt like maybe it was a sign to get back out asap, but I think maybe I was just looking for any sign to that affect.
Anyway I've been back to bartending and half heartedly job hunting the last two weeks, but my friends have extra tickets to the next leg of the tour and I have few reasons not to go, so I'm leaving for the Washington state on tuesday .
You guys are an awesome group of people and I feel honored to be a part in any small way. I'd take the laptop to check in more often, but I don't think it'd fare well with the camping accomodations. Thanks again everybody, can't believe I'm friggin 27, I've a serious Peter Pan complex!
p.s. Sky, changed the signature 'cause of you !

If I may, I will offer an alternative interpretation. The tree across your drive may be a sign that you should not use your car unless absolutely necessary.

ah Raulduke i am honored..thank you
and since anchor started it
maybe the tree across the drive was telling you to Stay home...blocking you in so you couldn't leave.. and sweetie..see i had to call you sweetie..cause i am wayyy older than 27.
enjoy every friggin minute of 27 and 28 and all of them...no time is ever wasted if you are in joy of the moment also take care and check in now and then..we like hearin what you are doing..
big birthday hugs D

Raulduke!
Thanks for stopping in. It's so refreshing to hear from you again. That is one big tree my friend, lucky no one was injured. I'm thinking a sign from the universe too.

Thanks again y'all.
In retrospect, about the tree, now I see the stay and don't use the car thing, but at the time I got a strong feeling like being trapped that has stuck with me. My first instinct was that I was previously thinking alot about going back to the this life where I was feeling pretty trapped, and then after I did return, I litterally was trapped in. I've got a loose plan now though, a third option, and I'm working out the details one at a times, still leaving for Washington in a few days though. Objective insight is always welcome and I've incorporated alternative interpretations in my new plan, so thanks for that guys.
