Hello all,

To keep this forum user friendly and productive I would encourage all to share some input into creating some basic guidelines. So far one suggestion has come up to post videos with some introductory text as some can't view video's from work and would like to bookmark a post for later viewing.

Obviously spamming would fit in as would treating others with respect.

Would love to hear your thoughts

Here are some: These will need some work and elaboration (if you accept any of them that is)

  • Respect is mandatory. No Ad-hominem attacks!
  • One account per member, no clones, alias accounts or “sockpuppets”
  • No advertising, self-promotion or promotion for commercial gain
  • No copyright infringement
  • No unnecessary duplication of posts or cross-posting
  • No smiley parades <- Anchor has no love for these
  • No pornography
  • No posting in public of private messages without the authors permissions
  • Avoid posting quotes of huge messages
  • Accept the fact that a moderator might, for the good of the forum, have to edit your posts, when that happens you will be told that it has happened.
  • No impersonation. Your anonymity should be used responsibly
  • No trolling. Overt trolls banned without explanation.
  • Avatars below 120px
  • Signatures 3 lines or less, or if graphical no more than 100 px high

Its not really about being a tight ass disciplinarian. ( I know you were joking, but I have a point to make...)

My suggestions are based on past experiences. I'll accept that those experiences may no longer be valid and maybe old paradigm, but that's still where we are at the moment on this forum - old paradigm mode of expression of new paradigm energy - and if we do it right we will attract the kind of attention that will kill it. The establishment are very good at what they do.

There are some things which we can do wrong which will leave the door open for TPTB to close the site down with no real effort. Copyright violation is one of them.

I think it best that no laws are broken - no matter how repressive the regime.

A..

hi.....most of these suggestions i agree and some i respectfully do not agree with.........imo i don´t want the co- creaters of this fourm to have to meny rules......or feel restrickted or wonder if they are "braking a rule"......

firstly imo...... i would like to say as long as members are showing respect i mean not atacking other members in a rude way everyone is free to say what they feel with out having to worry that their post wil be modifeid..........imo there is no reason for a mod to touch anyones post.......

second imo......if anyone has a web site that is sharing information that we are discussing and that can help us to expand our knowladge........or has videos or art that they create i want them to feel free to post their links , their vids, their art or their writtings here.......

third imo.....i feel menytimes the smiles help to express the emotion of the post......so feel free to use as meny as you want.........

fourth imo...... i think the avatars are set at 200px and i think thats a good size cause when you go smaller you loose some details........

fifth imo.....if someone has a copywrite thing that they want to share feel free to pm people you think would benifit and they can decide for them selves......

thank you for all of you suggestions anchor.....i appeciate them and the rest that i didn´t mention i totally agree with.........

please i would like everyone opinion on how we are going to manage this space.......cause in the end i want to make these disions as a group.........so please don´t be shy.......let us know whats on your minds.......
