How are those little babies, I bet their orphans or were just dropped somewhere to starve, poor little mites; and you did save them.
They have only been here a little while but at least their in good mummy hands. again.
May the angels wings cover and protect you from dawn to dusk and all through the night.

aw biggz, your spirit is here with these little ones, i felt it the moment i saw them little eyes lookin at me from under the front steps and heard their little mews - we had been posting on the threads about love and confusion and had posted some animal vids ... *** i was just falling asleep, a little more than a week ago, when i heard meows outside, under my open window ... they did not sound like grown up kitties, i was prompted to haul my old lady butt outta bed and have a look ... on my way out the door, i did not turn on any lights and stepped out quietly ... *** and i saw it in the moonlight, a baby kitty crying its little heart out ... so i scooped it up, it fit inside my hand, and i turned to go back inside ... and as i moved toward the door, i spotted movement from the corner of my eye and turned to see another one ... so i scooped it up too, pulled the bottom of my t-shirt up and around them, making a little kitty pouch, came into the house, and inched my way down the dark hall toward sis room .... *** "sissssssssssssss," i called, "wake up" and she responded with a grouchy "what?" i told her what was happening and she got up and we went into my room, closed the door against the dogs (who were EXTREMELY interested) and opened my shirt to let the little ones tumble out ... there was a little tiger striped one with only half a tail which we called bob right away - and the other was a creamy siamese looking kitty who was dubbed moonglow - their eyes were half closed and they had teeth, i estimated they were about 4 weeks old *** i found a box for them to sleep in and put an old pair of sweatpants in the bottom, we tried to get some milk into them, but it wasn't working so we tore our art boxes apart, sure tht one of us had an eyedropper but when we found one and tried to use it the rubbery top had lost its qualities in this desert heat and would not suck up the milk into the little tube ... so we did the best we could with letting them suck drops off our fingers and we all went to sleep *** the next day, i went over to J&B's house to cook them dinner (that's my new gig, hey!, i am now a private chef!) and what do you think i saw on their kitchen counter? a perfectly functioning eye dropper ... i asked to borrow it, it was given to me - how can such a small thing make me so happy? it did, though, and i took it home ... *** as i was approaching the front door, i looked down to see one more set of kitty eyes looking at me - omg, another one - and i reached under and scooped it up and brought it in to its littermates - this one was tiger striped, too, but fluffier than the other two and it was named face immediately *** for the first week, we fed them with the eyedropper - and played with them often and put them to sleep in the box - now, almost two weeks later, they are drinking from a plate, eating soft food from a dish and they sleep in the closet on a pile of dirty laundry *** remember the kitties i told you were under the house and looked like the mister kitty i had left with my son ... i know now that the female was pregnant and these 3 were her newest babies - what i do not know is why she pushed them out of the "nest" so soon - here in the desert, they would be coyote bait or crow food - remember i told you about experiencing a loose dog killing one of the first batch? neither one of us was gonna let that happen to these new babies *** this experience has been almost mystical - sis says she was trying to manifest some love in my life ... she thought she meant the human sort, but wasn't specific, so the universe sent me baby kitties and i loved them right from the start ... the eyedropper synchronicity was a sign for me ... *** and mz biggz, your love for critters inspired me, and i did what i knew you would do, without a second thought, and i did it on a conscious level, smiling at you from my heart when i made the choice *** bob and moonglow and face thank you, mz biggz, as do i, for being you

ah Hippie that is soooooo warm and cozy...those kitties sure knew where to be left do you have any idea what happen to mama cat...?
i hope you know where you can get the nuetered cause if they are females you will be having a cat farm if you don't..lol i contacted the local aspca ..they have a program for feral cats...your's will be tame but still..they should do it a cheaply or free but you have to ask..they don't tell you that
i had the three in the barn nuetered cause i can only afford to feed so many...and it was really hard to deal with 13 kittens because i mis-timed the nuetering...
i hope you'll keep us in the loop with more pics as they grow oh and i have found if you go slow and introduce the kittens to the doggies and not let them play rough that they all get along just fine
i'ma still smilin at them little fuzzy ones

ok, lil otter, here is the rest of the family news: mama cat is still living under house, she comes out most of the day, she sits on the front steps later in day, waiting for food and water ... like i said, i do not know why she "let" these go too soon ... after i first broughtem in the house, i listened for days for her to be looking for them, calling for them, and at that point i might have given them back, but she didn't ... *** papa cat comes around to eat when the others are mostly done .... *** one of the three in the first litter is still with us, the original siamese looking one ... *** the second of the three is the one sis saw get killed by the dog ... *** the third one - sigh - became separated from us yesterday - sis went into town last night, and she took the gigabyte with her ... halfway to town, she noticed that third adolescent in the car with them! before she could decide how to handle, with the dog-and-wild cat situation, she pulled to the side of the road but the cat went out and onto her hood and then jumped off and scooted away *** so under the house and living feral-style are mama, papa and one teenager ... they come for food, don't run from us anymore, but will not let us touch them and they hiss a lot - we have discussed getting a humane trap to takem in and fixem, but have not found one yet ... *** the three new babies: i have a friend here who is taking moonglow ... that leaves me face and bob (bob is a female, but still bob) - i do think i can find homes for them, once i take them in to the post but i am waiting for them to be around 6 weeks first - they are using a poopy box and like i mentioned before, have started on solid food ....... *** one day at a time.......

i borrowed the boro's have a heart cages and fed them in there for weeks before getting them fixed..
mine are still feral but wait for me every morning to take breakfast to them.. the mama cat i think was someone's pet and i can pet her when i put food in the dish..but that's the only time the two offspring will come close when i put food in the pan but run if it looks like i want to touch them...sigh
anyway.. there was no way i could have 3 breeding female cats...you run outta friends real quick like.. if you have any city council type thing..check them out they may have traps you can borrow or know where you can get some... sounds like you have a nice little cat herd going there..lol..and nice that mama cat let you hand feed the babies..maybe she didn't have enough milk for them or knew you needed to cuddle purring fur...
wish i could take one but i have 5 now and that's my limit...

this place? everybody is on their own - there is no city council, no police, no stoplights!
we have a library and volunteer fire department, 2 gas stations one old rte 66 motel, one tiny grocery store - that's about it
there are no doctors or clinics, no fast food joints, no public transportation of any kind ...
i figure i am here as caretaker, and when i go, everything i found here, stays here - well, except for "face", i am afraid i am hooked on that lil one .... and i will take the two new ones to be fixed when there is a cost effective clinic in the town about 30 miles away ... they come around once a month there ...

i will try, zuni, i gotta hurry while they are still little ... i think my camera has vid mode, about 10 minutes worth, then i need to get it off the camera and i may have to wait until i go to san francisco to visit my son, where i can try to find the power cord i need ..... it's on my list:
* laptop power cord * get boots re-soled for winter * tattoo! * fill box at trader joe's to bring back
