i drove sis to her office this morning...
on the way, we stopped by the little store
and i pulled into the curb with the sun on
my back window
***
we had left home only moments ago, and
the whole car was frosted with a layer of
cold whiteness, except the parts of the
windshield i scraped off with my old atm card
***
sis got out, went inside the store and i turned
off the engine to hear the quiet
***
i looked up into my rear view mirror and was
instantly mesmerized by the energy of the sun's
warmth on the previously frozen window...
***
the smooth icey patches were transformed into
little drops
then the little drops joined together to make
bigger drops
then, when they were heavy enough, the big
drops started to roll down the window's incline
and they left tracks of the smallest drops....
***
then, the sun must have shifted a bit (or i did)
and some of the drops were prisms
***
so i whipped out the camera and tried to capture
the visual with which to embellish this story
