Are you awake....well, are you?
To wake up from a nightmare is a relief, unsettling., but a relief.
To awaken from a dream to a nightmare is horrific.., even worse, is knowing that you can't go back to sleep in the hope that you will awaken up to a different 'reality'. The only 'relief' will come in the form of denial by drugs, psychosis or by finding out what the nightmare is all about, thus, dealing with it in the appropriate manner.
Therein lies the problem of the latter option. How to cope with the 'problem'. ( for the positive minded people..cope with the
challenge !)
First of all, you have to figure out what the problem/challenge is. Well that depends on the nightmare you started off with.
It could have been that you woke up to the knowledge that ETs are real, planet X maybe a reality, cataclysmic earth changes are coming or George Bush is still president.., whatever.
Then you find out the nightmare is just beginning the more you research and 'awaken'. All you wanted to do was find out about one particular thing. Your biggest mistake was curiosity. Now the nightmare deepens.
Then you find out that the moon was dragged into earths orbit by aliens, the earth is hallow and they live there, coming up now and again when it's mealtime, (what's for dinner, mum?...,
Shut up and get in the oven!!) ..... WHAAAT!!?
OH DEAR!
Please can I go back to sleep?....Ahh!..NOoo!
But it's not all bad.., because things will change. Yes, there are nice people out there that will bring order to the world.
Don't worry, just take the injection and all will be well. The 'soap opera' is on telly and it'll soon be digital...,Yeehah!

Oops, sorry.., just dozed off for a while. Where was I? Oh, yes.. researching the nightmare.
So you find a website that answers a few questions, which opens the door to other questions. All of a sudden you find out, that in order to understand a simple question., you have to have a degree in Astrophysics,Astronomy,Metaphysics, Quantum physics, Psychology and Philosophy, the Occult, Symbols, have a tolerance of 'Gobshites' , Christ knows what else, and be an open-minded sceptic. ( by the way.. Christ is optional). Your pet Poodle is a shape shifting Rottweiler that controls your mind demanding food, water, walkies and love.., how controlling is that?
Now I find out the education I had was not education, but, indoctrination and that everything is an illusion.
