Americanthinker.com C. Edmund Wright Barack Obama did not so much get a win with the Nobel Peace Prize today as the U.S. Military and General Stanley McChrystal sustained a loss. The Prize itself will also be a loser along with all previous winners. The award is a not so veiled attempt to make it psychologically impossible for Obama to now send 40 thousand more American troops to Afghanistan. To do so would be to spit in the face of his most adoring audience in his favorite venue, the vague and undefined world stage. How else can you explain the prize being given to someone who has accomplished — in the words of the great international think tank Saturday Night Live: “nothing.” In fact, the studied consultants at SNL arrived at the conclusion that with regard to Afghanistan, things have “gotten worse.” It was the worst of the long litany of Obama failures to date according to SNL. This Nobel award to Obama is as breathtakingly shallow as Miss America contestants’ obligatory “wish for world peace” or Joe Biden’s assessment that the stimulus is “working beyond our wildest dreams” statement. There is no there there.

well, it didnt stop him. He is sending more troops.
I think it was another attempt to call attention to Obama in a sick way.
I am not so positive of what my real feelings are anymore as I am not so naive to think that the people behind the scenes will let their plans be altered in any way, shape or form
It is solely up to us, the people and I think that I am seeing things get out in the open a lot more today then I did with any other president. Is that on purpose ? Are there less safeguards ? Or is it just because I'm more aware ?
I know that I am not counting on any of them for help in this but will welcome all we get
We can all just wish for the best.

glad you enjoyed, mn... just heard an interview with jack blood and david icke... david seems to think obama is the car salesman the illuminati have trotted out to sell the idea of NWO/One world gov't.... that the problem set up was 8 years of bush jr that the reaction was a call for change, etc and that the solution was obama only nothing has changed.... he talks about it toward the end of the radio interview, part 6 i believe

Amazing how Obama is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, in office 12 days before the Nobel nomination deadline.

Sorry but I can't even take this seriously. I heard that he was nominated before he even took office. These honors have become nothing more than a stamp of approval by the PTW and used for political gains.

ok, when i heard the original announcement, the reporters and guests gasped..... in this posted version, from reuters on utube, the audience sound is totally edited out.... but watch the old guy standing behind the announcer's left shoulder - they couldn't, or chose not to, edit his reaction.... have a look:

OH lol what a character and it was so wild just to see that expression
Its hard to really understand what is happening.
I think that Russell Means is right on target with his message. We all know our part in this world and we have to bring it about ourselfs. Our creator kept this good man around for a very good reason and he has earned his merits in society. Its people like him that people should be honoring for he truly stands for peace
So many people had put their faith in Obama that its hard not to want yourself to see him to good. At the same time, it's understandable that it would not be attainable under the rules that are in place in our government. I forgot how many are ahead of him in the "real" power of this universerve, something like 47 or so. Anyhow, some outrageous number
We have so much help that I feel it will truly happen just as David Icke says

Lies only become truth if we let them. I'm not going to let this bother me as I am now seeing it as another reason to cause us an "intrusion" of finding the light.
Let them keep on trying to stop the light from drowning them out the darkness

well to get a new world order..you have to make it seem like the world is all on the same page...don't ya???
i am still looking at obama and wondering just who he is..
a puppet
a man with his own mission
another anti christ..
.i thought this when i first saw him..that the timing was perfect for all the world to come together under one man who proclaimed he wanted peace..and who was charismatic and who somewhere along the line is turned to total evil.. .but then my brain would say noooo - way to obvious when most have read or heard of the end times and the book of revelations...nah way to obvious but as i watch the progression of his presidency...his call for change is happening.. we are changing but not in a way anyone thought... and dang..i still want to like him and believe he is good... but i have so many reservations about him
