sonny_2002: I'm taking a geology class, and we're learning about the rock cycle, from volcanic all the way up to the earth then back down under, and it's interesting to see how the same atoms for rocks and life get cycled through, and how the idea of past lives etc. has a very physical counterpart

i never knew what real love was until i had my baby....
i never really loved my parents, sad to say -
my mother was "mommie dearest" and my father abused me - so
i could never trust him again, and that got in the way of the love -
being the eldest child, i was made responsible for the younger ones
and even tho i took the responsibility seriously, THAT got in the way
of loving them... so when i left home, upon graduating from high school,
slipping away under the cover of nighttime darkness, i thought love
was all about men and romance and finding it.... of course, i was
WRONG about that (can you say "looking for mr. goodbar?")

i became a single mother at 28, after having had plenty of time to
party and enjoy my freedom and learn some things.... i loved the
idea of being pregnant, the whole mother earth thing... previously, i had
abortion(s) and feared i would never meet my soulmate or have a child...

so when he "arrived", i felt such completion of purpose, i felt valuable
as his mother / even now, writing this the love swells up and fills me like
i will burst wide open - i put everything i had learned into that little soul...
and he taught me so much, he perfected me (not to say that i am perfect,
i am still learning every day)

and since i feel a satisfaction that i did the very best i could and that he
is such a confident, shining human person, i have been ready to leave the planet
as soon as i am called to source
