| yesterday, even though i was looking forward to my first day of cards with jack, i said "yes" when the camp owner asked me to watch the store for a few hours... so sis went to jack's and i joined her late in the day / today, i will be the one to be there all day and so i am satisfied - but that is not the story
here is the story:
i came back to the cabin around 7pm... sis and i marvelled at the rising almost-full moon, she stood on a big boulder and took photos of it - we both checked our email and posts and then she rolled a smoke and stepped out to puff...
but she didn't get that far - i heard a thump and called from inside the cabin "what was that?"
no answer
i called again, "what WAS that?"
no answer
i got that fluttery feeling that something was amiss and went outside to look... sis was on the porch swing, but not in a normal sitting position, it was as if she had fallen onto it and caught herself which explained the thump i heard - she looked as if she was trying to stand up, and when she looked at me, her eyes were empty, there is no other way to describe it - and i knew something was "wrong"
so i went to her and commanded that she stay down, don't try to get up and she closed her eyes and sank back onto the swing but she was somewhat stiff, not at all relaxed - and i saw her arm bend up and her hand twist as her head went back and i thought to myself "is this a stroke?" but it was her right arm which was deforming and i thought strokes affected the left side
i began to be scared as in "what am i going to do, what is going on" and i heard in my thoughts "stay calm" - it looked as if she was being electrocuted, her eyes were half open and her mouth was open as her head was still back and i heard her gasp for air, then nothing
i touched her on the arm then on the cheek and kept repeating "breathe, sis, breathe" and "it's ok, you will be ok" but my voice remained calm as i thought "maybe i will call 911 or put her in car and take her somewhere" but that thought passed as i encouraged her to breathe - after what seemed like many minutes, i saw her take a small breath, and then another and i told her again not to try and move, just relax and breathe - her body had relaxed somewhat i gave her a sip of water and as soon as i knew she was breathing regularly, i went inside and grabbed blankets, laid them on the porch and helped her from the swing to the ground where she just dissolved into them, saying thank you.....
she laid there for hours and i kept watch - when she moved into a more comfortable position, somehow i knew she would be ok and i went inside to lie down, keeping the light on and door open so that when she became fully conscious, she would know where to go... and that is exactly what happened.
this morning we talked about it - she does not recall me speaking to her - she said she was a bit scared but that she was seeing neon colored patterns and thought it was nothing to fear, almost cool, but she had an extreme feeling of vertigo/nausea - this morning, and now, she feels no physical pain, no soreness or headache - she is a bit freaked out as to what happened and why, as i am - but she says she can see more clearly - she has always been short-sighted but as she looks out into the distance now, things which used to be blurry are crystal clear now - she actually feels "better than ever"
her speech is not thick and her physical body is feeling good...
so my question to you all is - what the fuck? as micjer would say "your thoughts, please?"

| Hi WH,
As sky said it may be just that, and another possibility is it could be a serious realignment of her DNA an adjustment so to speak.
There is also another possibility. It could be just a spiritual attack against her trying to impede her happiness and well being.
The fact that she now is feeling better than ever is an indication that what happened to her may indeed be a spiritual attack, but she came through it ok it sounds like.
I hope you both keep on doing well and I for one will pray for you guys today as I don't think that will do any harm.
Hang in there and KEEP ON TRUCKING,....LOL

| thank you for asking...
she is subdued, calmer than "normal"
and still seeing/speaking clearly
i'm keepin' an eye on her
and btw, she had been reading, for the first time, a reiki book which was given to us, where she had just begun to read about kundalini..... when this happened...
there has been a shift, positive, so she's just going with it....

| Sounds like something zapped her from the cosmos.
Mysteries are fascinating. There was a positive outcome, not only has her physical sight improved but her inner sight may have been magnified and extended too.
My thoughts as always are with you and sis.

| Wow that's a familliar story WH. Great to hear that sis is recovering ok and maybe getting some benefits too . This same kinda thing happened to my brother at a YonderMountainStringBand show last year. I was just dancing and watching the show when I noticed some commotion to my right and what I thought was my brother's yellow fleece on the ground. I scratched my head for a split sec until I realised that he was still in his fleece and then I got that awful fluttery feeling in my stomach. At that point I'm told (as I don't really remeber this bit) I plowed down about 10 -15 hippies in between me and my brother, and when I got there he was doing that stiff limbed twitchy thing w/ eyes halfway rolled back. It really freaked me out, but after I grabbed his head and gave his cheek a few smacks he became remotley coherent but it was loud in the middle of the dancefloor so I picked him up to walk out but he could barely stand so I threw him on my shoulder (I'm the younger one but I'm almost twice his size) and fireman carried him outside where a couple of my buddies had found the paramedics that hang around shows like that. The wierd thing though is that they checked him out for a bit and he felt just fine after a few minutes of sitting and then standing and walking. He wasn't doing any drugs either and had maybe two or three beers, not nearly enough to put him down like that. It was very weird. He doesn't remember a thing about it either, just one second dancing and the next up on my shoulder heading outside. Anyway, glad to hear sis is ok and I hope you are too btw WH. I remember that feeling you mentioned, I know it sucks, and I don't want to experience it again anytime soon. | |

| update on sis: she is still seeing things in the distance more clearly and says her brain feels "sharper"
we are both a bit apprehensive that it could happen again but on the other hand, there was no pain and the end result, except for this leftover question, was positive
so......... whatever is going on, we say "bring it on!"
yer dukeness, your brother never mentioned the colors?

| Mmm I missed this thread for some reason.
I'd go with Gabriel's instinct on this one.
I have some relevant ideas for this situation, and it is what I would probably do in the circumstance. It can't hurt for me to put it out for others - I would be interested in others opinions on it.
One of the things I have learned/remembered is that when/if you see someone going through this and your inner self tells you it is not a "medical" emergency, the first thing to do is firmly grasp their hand with yours whilst simultaneously "grounding" yourself. You then act as an emergency ground. Call their name and say reassuring things - whilst beaming love light and energy at them (set your intent to "dispel" mode); follow-up by mentally bringing in the big guns - ask for help in the name of (insert your chosen spiritual figurehead here). I would reckon on them coming in pretty much instantly, so now its time to recheck that this is not a medical problem - or that one isn't developing - do your ABC's and follow normal first aid protocols.
A..

| Food for thought,
That "wah wah wah sound" I have heard before just before I split from my body in an out of the body experience.
Also another sound I have heard just before splitting with my flesh body was a sound like a buzzing sound that was of a low range of frequency, but it was real loud in my head just before I left my body.
These frequencies are interesting as they seem to occur just before a separation of spirit from body.

| I can tell you a little of what I remember... the colors were like an abstract neon light show in bent tubes all pointing to the left. Which colors I can't tell you, I'm not so sure I know. The only thing I didn't like about the whole thing was that I wasn't "in control". Just laying down on the deck outside was comforting. A bit of nausa and then it was all gone, just like that. I've been asking to see through the "curtain" between this dimention and the next one but next time I ask something like that, I'll ask for a bit more control. [geeze] Thanks you guys. | |

| Question really is now, did she (you) go there of your own free will? If not then the hand-grasping I talked about earlier in the thread is a good way to drag her back. | |

| i do not think so, anchor... because it was a "surprise" altho she was reading the reiki book at the time and had been saying she wanted to use the japanese brush/ink to paint the symbols there within... she has not gone back to the book (yet)
my intuition, as i described above, was to stay calm and ground her, and then make her comfortable, so i agree with your method and am glad that when i/she needed it, the "right" reaction surfaced from a gut feeling

| Great to hear your sis is doing better and from the looks of all the comments...... it would appear she has/is going through an "INITIATION" that is SPECIFIC AND PERFECT for her!!! AND I too..... would/do RECOMMEND HER PRACTICING GROUNDING EXCERSICES!!![
As your sister may have found/is now finding, MOST poeple who connect with REIKI............. DO HAVE THESE REIKI RELATED INITIAL AND TRANSITIONAL EXPERIENCES!!! (That will be UNIQUE based on "all the collective beliefs and WHO your sister knows herself to be" at the locational moment point of where she was at before/upon the introduction to the RIEKI book)...... (she could have ALSO accessed previous RE-INCARNATIONAL CONNECTIONS that were awakened by such)......
THUS..... I WOULD SAY ...... THIS IS TO BE EXPECTED ..... & VERY SPECIFIC TO HER LOCATION.......
.... AND PLEASE WELCOME HER INTO THE WOLRD OF REIKI ENERGY .............. AND IF or AS SHE WANTS MORE ENERGY (which may be a while due to such an INTENSE INITIAL EXPERIENCE)..... .....SHE can place and or USE such ADDITIONAL REIKI SYMBOLS on her body in erasable pens at first and or TATOOs (for some REIKI MASTERS) and or chant these RIEKI names ALOUD....(if/as so desired).. .. ... AND NOTE, THOSE WHO CAN SEE AURAS, HAVE SEEN THESE REIKI SYMBOLS WITHIN THE AURAS OF THE REIKI MASTERS (WHO HAVE REIKI A PART OF THEIR BEING)!!!! ... AND ALTHOUGH some REIKI students do not get such CONNECTIONS .....until they get/receive the proper ATUNEMENTS from their INSTRUCTOR....... OTHERS, like me can get connected to such..... AS SOON AS THEY START PLAYING with such REIKI ENERGY...... (I have done and still do experiments in this area. As for now I can not place the REIKI symbols PERMANENTLY on my body (like some Masters do) because my body will vibrate too much in doing so experimenting with such symbol use). ANY WHO..... GREAT POSTING .... AND BEST WISHES TO YOUR SISTER!!! Steve

| It sounds to me like your sister experienced a sudden release of an energy blockage. I agree that it could possible be a spontaneous kundalini episode. If you don't know what you are doing or experiencing it can be scary. You have to learn to let them flow and breath. Sudden surprise of the experience can cause you to stop breathing and you can suffer physical damage or even passing out. It does sound like it was a temporary problem but she should read about it and other energy blockages so she can be prepared better in the future. The important thing to remember is not to get anxious and let it open or flow where it wants to go.
I have a great website with practicle advice and information if you're interested and a very caring community that are anxious to help others who experience these sort of symptoms. Prana breathing also helps to balance out the energy.
The risk comes when you try to resist it because you don't understand what is happening. Hope this helps.
