| I find source raw materials that are truly staggering. On YouTube there's this corny Mars video in which a fake UFO has been inserted into the Ultreya/Gustav Crater area. A dumb job, okay? But I noticed that I hadn't SEEN this panning photo before, so I started playing with it. And wow! The photoshop job is HIDING some real data. Modern housing, suburban agriculture and in the latter two cases, up-close-and-personal ANGRY faces confront the camera. You see, the Spirit Rover camera's lens aperture is set to "infinite distance" like an old Brownie; so nothing in the foreground is focused, just shadows of anyone or anything standing in the foreground. Isn't this amazing? http://www.holyconservancy.org/images/MARSLINK/GUSTAV.Y2B.MRttWk8gjdQ.png | |
