The best American music today is without a doubt something called Americana music. Here is an example.

I love this band and the concept of Americana music. This is home grown bands, that have no backing to speak of and they are totally awesome, and there is a lot of them. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This is some great home grown talent, that is against the common business practice of being ripped off by record companies and I love them.

This is inspired music.

It is awesome that before I die of old age, I have found some music that is even better than the 60's.
It is incredible that these bands exists, and because they do it gives me great hope that all is not lost. These musicians are game changers. They are home grown talent that is not consistent with a genre and they are all American....and you can't know how long it has been since I have been able to say that.

And it sounds and feels good.

Hey Sky, billy Bragg is a part of this movement

These people make the 60's look ancient and I love it. It's about time American music came back, and Billy Bragg is a big part of it.

For those that do not know Billy Bragg is an icon of British music from way back.

It's about time for something different.

Can I please get some feedback from someone? Can you see a you tube video in the window above? Because I tried to post a video but I cannot see it, as it looks blank to me except the words. This IPad is not worth a shit, I will be replacing it early next year.

I've not been too well these last couple of days, I put it down to all the crap from the massive heavy chemtrail spraying we've had this week. Everybody seems to have the same symptoms over this city, so there has to be something in it.

Anyway, I listened to your music and they sound great for a live band, I best they would make a great night in a bar or club. I figure where bands go wrong is when they get too big and look for ever bigger outlets to play their music in. By that time they seem to lose their 'feel' and then just bring out albums cos the records company demands it.

My all-time fav band since the 70's is Blackfoot. From there I found Southern Rock to be a particular niche' of mine. Always loved stuff like that and still do. Since Ricky Medlocke left to re-join Skynyrd they're not the same to me. Again that 'feel' is lost.

Here's a great musician named John Fullbright he is from Okeema Oklahoma Woody Guthrie's home town and he has a very unique style and sound all his own.

I preferred the 2nd song more. I thought the first song had a JJ Cale feel to it. But good all the same.

I have noticed Fulbright does sound at times a little like JJ Cale, but I also notice Dylan influences in johns music as well. It is hard to put the guy in a box/category because his music is very diverse. I think he is another great singer songwriter just now coming into his own.
