There are quite a few rumors floating around the net regarding this bill.. Including but not limited to: "The bill does not exist", "Its only a draft that will never get to floor", "This is going to 'hurt' Big Agra", etc etc. One obviously co-opted organization even claimed to call a Monsanto exec who assured her it would harm his company (like the hare who decried being thrown into the briar patch). The exec even extolled the virtues of organic food and claims he is one who "gardens, cans food, and buys locally grown produce." Which I find rather telling that that he chooses not to consume food sourced from his own employer. Apparently, the powers/lobbyists DON'T want you to know about their back-door dealings and would prefer that you go back to sleep. This bill has been vetted by the top Health Freedom minds and all have come to the same conclusion. It will limit and control our ability to choose.
One of the most respected figures in natural health information, Dr. Joseph Mercola, coined in one the matter today and at the time of this writing is on the front page of his website
www.mercola.com. In his article titled "Monsanto's Dream Bill -- HR 875", he states, "Although I’m not familiar enough with this bill in its entirety to make any definitive declarations about what it would mean for the future of small organic farms should it pass, I will say this: any law introduced by someone with ties to Monsanto is likely to be grossly tainted by industry bias.
