The scriptures are actually quite amazing when you see and understand the many things that have come to pass predicted by them.
Such as the prediction of Y'shua Messiah being crucified 1000 years before the event took place. King David wrote a Psalm about this happening, in Psalms 22 where this Psalm gives a detailed account of the crucifixion right down to the gambling for his garments.
The empires of Persia, Alexander the Great, Babylon, Rome, all told of before hand would come to pass through the scriptures. And they all happened just as said.
The way God told the children of Israel exactly what would happen to them if they decided to worship false Gods, and turned their backs on God Most High, which they did and their punishment for this was the loss of their home land, Israel and their going into captivity into Babylon and Assyria for 400 years.
Concerning the end of this earth age, Y'shua Messiah told us in the New Testament 3 times, how he has told us all things concerning this age ending event, referred to as the coming dimensional changeover into our next dimensional existence. He told us all things concerning the Anti-Christ about how and when to expect his coming, and the signs of it happening, so we would not be deceived by the Anti-Christ when he does show up.
It is comforting to know these things before they take place.
