| I just survived the hottest recorded day in Sydney yesterday. It was 46 (°C) thats 115 (°F) It felt like an oven outside. It was absolutely unbearable. Finished work early to water my plants to find them drooping and dry. Then the weather turned into this nasty wind storm. I heard this loud bang to find a large gum tree branch had fallen outside my house. I dragged it off the road onto my nature strip. I continued to drink my wine. | |

| FL, while i enthusiastically support the sipping of fine wine, may i caution you regarding the intake of alcohol and extremely high temperatures? just take care and be safe, we need you .... love, your WINEhippie P.S. for the past week was cold here in san francisco ... not unusual for winter ... however, yesterday and again today, have been warm and spring-like (windows open, no inside heat needed, etc) ... i would expect to see bloom buds forming on trees when i go outside later ... | |

| Oh I made sure I was hydrated too by drinking lots and lots of water all day. Hit the wine when it started to cool down from the wind.
The next day the temperature almost dropped by half.

| Cold winter and Cold Spring here Frogmaster!
My Chili plants which always survived the winter did so once again, but they are about 3 months late in turning red...
Now hey lets say if the mag field is really moving, and the Japan Quake (which i say was natural and knocked us off half a degree) That may just explain the oddness!

| Record breaking temps in the UK for the last 2 weeks or so here. It's also set to last for another 2, so the weatherman said. Yesterday it was 31C and that for England is some heat. Normally the best we can expect is around 22-25C, so this has been the hottest July for a lot of years. | |

| It has been 31C here in Canada all week, so don't plan on coming here for relief!
Big thunderstorms last night has helped the heat and humidity today. At least you can breathe again.
Stay cool everyone! | |

| It was freezing this morning, about 6C and that is cold for me. What I do love about winter is how rich the blue skies look. | |
