I've gone through all that before. [sigh] I've been drawing pictures for about 40 YEARS and I've often had people tell me that I should do this or that... I have tried, really. With these, "artist's representatives" basically, you go through this whole process only to find that you have to PAY them per entry for their consideration... ouch.
There are "art publishers" that yes, will publish your art in their book, but then YOU have to BUY the book and it's just full of artists that got published in their book so that they would buy their own copy.
Then there is the "submit your art" scam where if you read the fine print, whatever you send them is free for them to use and they can just tell you, you didn't make the cut. tyvm.
Then there's those "artist's agents" that will promote your work, not guaranteeing any sales, for a price, and they ain't cheap.
I just don't have any dollars to speak of, and if I did, I'd be shopping at the dented can store. But keep those ideas coming, perhaps you'll stumble upon one that we haven't already thought of.
They don't just look at your work and say "wow, that's great" and then proceed to represent you, sell your work and give you a cut, those were the old days, NObody gets in without paying.
