Happy St Patricks day

i just have no enthusiasm for "holidays" anymore ...
maybe it's cuz i do not punch a time clock, so the time
off is non-existent ... no 3-day weekends ... sucked in by
hallmark to send (buy) a card ... dressing up in funny costumes ....
don't get me wrong, i like the "holiday energy" - as i walked
up the street for veggies yesterday, i shared the sidewalk with hordes of
partiers, half looped, dressed in green, coming from/on their way
to a pub somewhere - i smiled as i passed them, they were having
fun ... but i need no excuse to have fun, i try to do it everyday ...
i don't need no stinkin' holidays
