| i'm only putting the link here..cause way too many spiders for me...geeeeeze as if the flooding wasn't bad enough http://www.buzzfeed.com/gavon/spider-web-forrest-is-beautiful-and-terrifyingSpider Web Forest Is Beautiful And Terrifying That's not snow…THAT'S NOT SNOW! The severe flooding in Australia isn't just impacting humans, it's also forcing spiders to vacate their homes along swollen riverbanks. Here are creepily pretty photographs of a sort of spider refugee camp near an inland residential area. | |

| I can tolerate the odd spider, but that is just one too many.
Q: Why have the spiders gone beserk and made all those webs?

| skywatcher they call it ballooning. The spiders produce large lengths of silk so the wind can catch them and move to another place.

| I have actually seen this once during the day. Years ago looked up and saw all these strands floating in the air.
It took me a while to figure out what it was.

| It's the white tail and wolf spiders I have to watch out for in these parts.
The white tails I find now and again inside because that's what they do; it's when they bite you, your in trouble.
I must be somewhat countryfied as when I see one I just get annoyed and kill it, I dont scream.
