Most of you know I dont like the heat, especially mugginess.
I have been looking at the over 55 villages on the coast of NSW, I looked at the ones in Vic and they do not have the same vibe.
You have north coast, mid coast or central coast, northern beaches, and southern coast. I dont like inland, I would prefer water if I can get it.
Based on info above, if I stay below Coffs Harbour and look anywhere under there do you think it would be okay, not too hot.

If you don't like the heat I wouldn't go up as far as Coffs. Even Sydney has some hectic heat waves. I would be thinking the south coast however I don't know much about the retire villas. If you are close to the water you have the sea breeze which is a bonus.

Yep, I am doing heaps of research, kerm, there are a lot more villages along the NSW coast than there is down here and the ocean breeze would be nice.
I'm doing all the research on every facet.
Re: the over 55 villages, of course I would be surrounded by people in my own age bracket, which is a bonus for me.
They have pools, tennis courts, art and craft rooms, billards, movie room and on it goes and a club room where you can get a meal.
If you buy there, you pay a monthly fee that covers council rates, water rates, insurance, village maintenance etc.
Plus there is a 24 hour nurse on call button. I am still researching. It's good to know.

yeah south coast to avoid the heat.
Sea breeze blowing in, and wind from the Snowies blowing out.
If a tsunami heads toward you, its a relatively short short drive to the monaro highlands as well lol.
