African elephants absolutely love the marula fruit which grows wild in South Africa (Interestingly enough, it's the same fruit that the liqueur, Amarula Cream Liqueur, is made from!). Apparently the fruit naturally ferments in the gut, so when the trees are in season the elephants all gather around and get tipsy on the yummy fruit - it seems they enjoy it so much that they can't help coming back for more and more. Can you blame them!
