Coming soon to many more cities world wide. Most of these buildings are really not that old compared to buildings in England and other European cities.
US the throw away society. How many years before sports arena/parks become obsolete?
Each one of those buildings have so many stories to share.

Well I appreciate the effort behind artistic photography, some themes can be a little bold and confronting. I see where hippie gets the mixed emotions from in this gallery.
I was going for a jog one morning and saw this burnt wheelie bin and thought how unusual seeing this melted plastic deformed bin sitting on the side of the road. My next reaction was it would make an interesting photo. Hope you don't mind hippie if I post this pic as I've got the camera bug. It has that surreal feel with the B&W conversion.

the pics that emotionally hit me are the two libraries seeing those books just left
and thinking that in 50 years no one will know what a book is and all the info on line can be so easily manipulated

i watched a very good doco on detroit a few months ago.
It ran through from the heyday of motor city, right through the downfall to today.
At the very end there was a short piece about people starting community farms/gardens in some of the worst areas.
Wish i could remember the title. It was quite good.
