Subject: Re: Mystery missile launched off the coast of California Tue Nov 23, 2010 12:44 pm
update, additional theories:
Brig. Gen. Jim Cash:
A former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and commander of an F-15 squadron and an F-16 wing, Cash was assigned to NORAD as an assistant director of operations at the Cheyenne Mountain complex near Colorado Springs, Colo., and is fully knowledgeable of NORAD procedures.
"There is absolutely no doubt that what was captured on video off the coast of California was a missile launch, was clearly observed by NORAD, assessed by a four-star general in minutes, and passed to the president immediately," he said.

Wayne Madsen, a former naval officer who has worked at the National Security Agency and the Naval Data Automation Command, said the inability to pick up what he described as a Chinese Jin-class submarine-launched ballistic missile isn't the first time U.S. Navy anti-submarine warfare sensors have failed.
"According to 2 military experts with significant experience working with missiles and computer security systems, the 'missile' fired off of the west coast on November 8, which was captured on video from California, was Chinese in origin.
The alleged missile was actually the contrail of an unidentified projectile of some sort that could be seen 30 miles off the coast of California over the Pacific.
Official government explanations for the projectile contrail do not pass the muster of credibility.
Both the U.S. Department of Defense and the North American Aerospace Defense Command issued statements claiming the contrail came from a jetliner and posed no security threat to the United States.
However, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that there were no planes flying in the area at the time the contrail was videotaped on November 8.
Why did the government lie to the public?
The 2 military experts say that the missile was fired from a Chinese submarine submerged right off of the U.S. coast in the Pacific and that the display was meant to send the U.S. a signal. In the midst of what most observers say are growing tensions between the 2 nations, China wished to express its displeasure concerning Obama economic policy which they claim is increasing the risk for default on the multi-billions in loans the U.S. has secured from the ChiComs..
NORAD was fully aware of the incident, and a four-star general with the agency reported directly to Obama the news concerning the missile launch. It was Obama, thus, who issued the order for a muted response to the incident and the resultant concocted story that the contrail came from a jetliner.
Several troubling questions arise from the manner in which the Obama Administration has handled the Chinese missile launch off of our coastline.
How serious is the threat of ChiCom retaliation against the U.S. over Chinese loans to cover America's massive national debt? How seriously is the U.S. unprepared to deal with such a threat, given that the incident brings to light the failure of U.S. Navy anti-submarine warfare sensors to alert the military to the presence of a ChiCom sub 30 miles off the coast of California? And why is the Obama Administration so determined to engage in so obvious a cover-up?"
