does anyone watch that show true blood?
the ep that was on down here tonight (s3 ep10) was the one where bill tells sookie what she actualy is.
i wont say for anyone who might watch and did't see it, but yeah, was interesting.
i knew the general gist of it beforehand, but the full explanation i didnt expect, not in a tv show anyway.
and this is in general not off-topic because it has some relevance.

well i picked up one of c harris's books..it is called vampire romance and there are an entire series of them ..vampire soap opera..they seem to be everywhere.(books on vamps, i mean).anyhow it was bloody and poorly written, ..so my guess is the screen writters have helped it along the books sale quickly..but i have only bought one..the series is a huge hit..at least that is what i hear...
now if you want some info on military stuff and mk ultra type things..there is another writter..equally as gruesome but no vamps or shapshifters..she is Christine feehan and her series of books ending in the word GAME are something else..the men are called ghost talkers
sorry, i mis spoke there..feehan also has a vamp series all starting with the word Dark..it's all at the web site...i started reading the vamp series cause i had a uncomfortabel-ness with shape shifters which came to my attention..they're (the stories) fairly gruesome also but very well written they all have web sites

cool sky. i've never heard of them, but i might take a look.
-------
ok so in the show it went something like this
"sookie, you're a fairy" "a fairy? thats pretty lame" "fairy is but one name. fairy, fey folk, elhoim, aliens..." "so i am an alien (sarcasm)" "one of your ancestors was impregnated by a fey" "thats doesnt sound good" "the fey bred with humans...umm...sometimes against their will"
later in the coversation it was stated/shown that vampires killed off all the fey and their offspring, because fey blood was like a drug, and can give powers to the vamps, like resistance to sunlight, and access to the fey realm (higher plane)
also, sookie, the human with fey blood, has psi powers. telepathy and such.

well the fey stuff has been borrowed from other sources... i don't know any 'real', if you can call them that, vamps so i can't say there is any truth or not in that claim
but the stories of the fey mating with humans is of long standing and the rumors that it gives psychic-ness is also of long standing. the stories about the origins of the fey or sidhe and the tuatha de Danaan are all extremely interesting stuff one of which is that they landed in an air ship that they were unable to repair...and they had magic abilities another is how they fought the sons of baal..some say the sons of baal were sons of satan and some say not
so yep...lots of old stuff for her to adopt into her story line....most of these "stories" have so much stuff mixed up in them you can ususally get a good laugh or scratch your head and go on a search
the fey stories are also blended into the mk ultra 'recuits'.. somewhere there is truth..how much is anyones guess at this point but you guys know how this all works..a sprinkle of truth to pull you in ans sell you on something else...

Yes, reptilians are very real. Al Gore is a reptilian and must carry a vile of human blood in his pocket to sip every few hours to prevent shape-shifting into reptilian form. The first signs of shape-shifting can be easily seen in the eyes and the face. The opening in the eye pupil becomes a vertical slit, as seen in snake eyes, and the eye color becomes greenish. Depending on the degree of "shift", the facial features gradually take on the appearance of a lizard.
