I went into buy a souvenier of the place and got some money out of my wallet. The clerk said to me, I am sorry, we do not accept cash here. We are a cashless society. We only take debit or credit cards.

Bigwin Island looks like a nice spot mate. You get a lot of recreational time, I'm envious.
The name 'Bigwin' is a little ironic. Who ever receives the Big Win, don't expect cash.

Looks awesome but I would be bothered with the not accepting cash part too.

If I`m not mistaken under Canadian law when cash is refused for payment then you get it free Mic I remember taking this in High school . Devils Paint Brush and Devils Pulpit near Orangeville are the same way . For those that don`t know the Originators of the game Trivial Pursuit tried to join several private golf clubs after they struck it rich and they were refused entry so they bought up land and built there own . It was so successful they built a second I think it cost 3 million alone to construct the first hole . Now they hang out there and drink

Geez now you tell me. hehe
It wasn't all bad, this was a freebee from a friend of a friend. Would have been 200 dollars each for the round. Little out of my league.
The food bill had the gratuity already built in, so my buddy double tipped for supper.
