In my Nine years of employment I've always worked with Burmese Refugees. One little family of two cousins who came to Australia to meet others in their family that got out of that seriously repressive area.
There's only one of the two I mention still at work now, and he has worked his way into a very valuable position based on knowledge and hard work, not manipulating like "Some Managers" seem to do in this western world. :)
I met his oldest son tonight for the first time.. who is aiming to be in the Australian Cricket Team. That could be seen as another distraction, but when knowing one cannot even talk against the ruling dictators...
It re-mind's of an investigative documentary I watched on ABC, or SBS (in OZ) about five years concerning the on-going effects of Agent Orange and the lack of compensation from USA.
