i am in the process of planning a trip to sedona....
i was there 30 yrs ago
it's only an hour from where i am now, and even tho
i have been here a year, i have not gone back
because i was afraid that the commercialization
would break my heart...
but i am being called, i can hear/feel/sense the
energy beckoning me....
so i am going on the 30th, the full moon, because as
i understand it, the vortexes (vortices) are more
powerful at that time.... i am taking my spiritual
helpers (crystals, lady guadalupe, pendulum and
tarot cards) as well as my camera - and of course,
will be reporting back to all of you - and will say a
prayer for our group as i sit and meditate next to
twisted juniper trees

as for my birth day "proper", i will be tending bar
for my very favorite group of veterans, at the post,
which never fails to fill my heart, boost my energy
***
i am so grateful to be here with you, and here in the
desert and on earth at this time - sometimes i can
barely contain my self!

Hey Hippie that sounds like it's going to be a wonderous trip to Sedona. I completely understand why you haven't made the journey for so long. I've never been there in person but have received energy from there and saw it come to me during meditation. It's on my list but I want to do it right similar to the way you are.

I ended up having to work at the bar on my b-day last year, hope you get better tips than I did (the females always do ).

Last week when i went on a book buying spree I saw a book on the Vortex's of Sedona and though of you instantly and how I wish I could send it over to you!

Hippie girl, I hope you got a cake or had some fun with sis on your birthday, let us know, I hope it was peaceful and loving.

yes mz biggz, i had some cake.... someone brought me
chocolates, too - i had several cards, one was handmade...
my son called in the morning to sing me the happy bday
song in his angel tenor voice.... my other sister who is
still in california called, hadn't heard her voice in months...
a dear friend sent me some incredible rocks/crystals and a
beautiful magical necklace made just for me... sis brought me
coffee in bed... another friend made me an exquisite
"market bag", turquoise paisley (right up my hippie alley) ...
i volunteered at the bar so celebrated without inebriation
and of course, all of your well wishes here......
