| Freshwater crocodiles snap at bats swooping towards the water at Fitzroy Crossing, north-western WA, date unknown. Photographer orca1 writes on ABC Contribute: "I couldn't believe my luck when I managed to get this shot. I was like a little boy jumping around in my boat after seeing the digital image on the screen. Take note of all the crocs sitting in the water waiting for their moment of chance."

| Wow Soma, that bat near the water looks like a miniature dracula with his legs sticking down like that. Wouldn't want to go swimming there of a balmy night would ya. Oooh it's hot, I think I will just take a quick dip in this lake and cool off. Wahhhh, gulp. | |

| Awesome pic Soma. That's alot of sets of eyes on the surface.
"Holy shit, don't jump in the boat you maniac, I don't care how good the shot is. Do you see all the crocs in the water?" | |
