The problem with energy vampires is you don't always know what's happening until you've severely affected. Once you identify the problem then it's much easier to cut them off and deal with it.

i learnt something long ago about this
if you have had an emotional reaction to someone or have caused an emotional reaction
then you have hooks to that person or event
and you need to remove them to be free of that

emotions are like cement

so as an exercise i would mentally pull the hooks out of myself connecting me to whatever i had strong
feelings about
and the i would pull any hooks out of them connecting me
a friend did it by mentally cutting any cords binding her to events or people causing strong emotions

and a little line when you were done with it was
and cutting any hooks or cords i haven't recognzed yet

it ain't easy being free

Wise words SKY, sometimes we forget and need reminding so thank you for that.
Sometimes the emotions and feelings are so strong that we tend to lose 'ourselves',
because we are so sensitive and caring we can over 'empathise' and this results in
'caring too much', when in fact it brings our weakness to the surface.
It can be a form of control on our behalf, when in reality the person in question is being shown a lesson if they would only truly listen to what their heart is telling them.
It is so important to stay grounded.
Tough love can be tough!

The key is to let your spirit immediately identify their bad energy.
Then you can choose to not let them rile you up anymore......now I try to be diplomatic when I have to deal with these types.

i have discovered a new way of dealing with drama queens..probably would work with the suckers too

just look them right in the eye and ask..'do you need a hug?'

of course you need to be self aware so you can tell the suckers from the others..
i don't think ya need much info to spot a drama queen though
