Let It Snow!

We had 33 inches of snow today, it broke a record. I will take pictures when I feel like braving the snow drifts.

Thats a lot of snow, 838.2 millimeters to be exact.

Well I lived in an area that had 55 inches in one day before. Martial law was declared until we were plowed out.

Thats pretty mind blowing for this lil Aussie

We didn't get snow all winter and the Universe decided we needed it all at once I guess...

We are getting lots up here in Ontario too! Can someone please make it stop. I am getting very tired of plowing my laneway!

Mic, you're not alone, although I shouldn't complain because we've gotten away with a mild winter so far snow is predicted for every day this week and another dumping coming this weekend. Can't wait to see your pics!

i think when someone says..33 inches..REALLY..it's more in shock than disbelief
how the heck do you get the door open to dig your way out...

i just came in from shoveling and we only got another 4 inches or so..but it isn't stopping

But do you folk in the snow areas get to play on those cool snow mobiles? I always wanted to try one of those snow jetski/motorbike type things, they look like fun indeed!

it's been years since i was on one..i like couches and fireplaces more now..lol

it's a pic of the blacksmith shop down by the barn..but it could be a cabin in the woods...sigh

It's been awhile since I've been snowmobiling too! They're fun as long as you don't hit a wire fence hidden by a snowbank. These days they're banned from everywhere but your own land.

My cattle don't mind the winter. They came from Manitoba so it is warmer here!

Yep you've got some snow too don't you? Better snow for the cattle then the frigid temps which we're getting right now.

I didn't go out yesterday to take pics the wind was blowing too much but hope to get out this afternoon! You gotta love winter such a variation in temps and snowfall...

Thanks Sky and L222, if we hit a mini ice age downunder, I have taken your advice on board, dont fall off the snowmobile or run into fences. I've done both on two wheels though
