| very strange experience for me within past few hours... *** i stirred from sleep between 4 and 4:30, sis was moving about in front room... i felt a damp spot on my pillow, and only half awake, saw a dark spot in the dark... i assumed i had been sleep-drooling (don't tell me you haven't done this) but when i went to wipe my mouth, i was dry... curious and confused, i turned on the light and realized the dark, red spot was blood and that it had come from my nose... i went to the bathroom and got tissue... *** at this point, i felt "wtf?" *** i have never had a nosebleed as far as i can remember... i switched to "choices" mode... i thought i would sign on and pose question to you, what do you think it is? then i thought, no, too much drama, unwarranted... then i thought i would look up online and immediately nixed the idea, i don't even want that info in my head... finally, i worked my way around to calm, peace and visualizing a clear, healthy nasal passage and i soothed my own concerns *** and so, 2 hours later, i had arrived at the "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" place *** but it's still weird | |

| Love the title of the thread.
There's either 2 ways to look at it.
The conventional explanation: nasal allergy, strep throat, a sinus infection (depressing news)
or the unconventional explanation: Ascension symptoms (positive news)
How about you meditate and ask your higher self?

| more details: *** when i came into front room with tissue to nose, and told sis what happened, she asked if anything hurt and i said no... i tasted that iron-y blood at the back of my throat and then a trickle of blood tickled my right nasal passage, i caught it in the tissue - then - nothing - pfft - gone *** i drove sis to work and felt kinda spacey... my body tingled, upper arms and across my shoulders - after i got back home, i had something to eat - the spaciness went away and the only thing which remains is my curiosity... *** nothing hurts (no nasal infections or sore throat), my nasal passages are wide open... i thought back over the past few days - what has been different? i drove more than usual, from 5000ft to over 7000ft, several times, which may lend credence to what you posted up there lil otter, about "pressure" *** i was blowing into woodburning stove to get flame going and breathed in some ash through my nose (not a lot, but still....) *** i have felt the past couple days like the "pressure" of some of my commitments were relieved... hmmmmm *** i did ask MASH to heal a spot on my thigh, after i read A..'s post.... *** soooooooooooooooo..... *** so far, reunite's ascension theory is the one i vote for, that's what i would like to think it is...... *** | |

| Well, if there is no pain when you press on both sides of your nose where the mandibles are, no temperature, stuff like that then you can rule out infection, because sinus infections would have associated symptoms like that. One thing you can do is use a nasal lavarge which is just saline wash through your nose which would flush out anything there but it is a pain to do.
Now I thought I read you and sis were living in the desert. I think you are going into your winter over there now, has there been a change in the air re: dry desert air and now a change because of winter? Just throwing some questions out there.
Ofcourse me being me the first thing I have to say I thought of was the MASH crew lol, serious I have to tell the truth and say I did.
The most important thing I would do is just watch for any other symptoms that you might have from now on. If you have a headache or fever report back to us but hippie I don't think you will. This could be just a one off thing.
I wouldn't be surprised one bit that your not ascending though.
I ask if everyone could send some healing your way hon. Get back to us on how things are please. xo

| and then there was George Ure's comment to someone this morning... sis read it to me: *** "Let me offer three possibilities for you: Aliens are abducting you periodically (check for implants, watch for odd nose bleeds and so forth). Second: The Multiverse may just happen to re-synch more often at places you frequent (in which case, don’t come visit, sorry). Or third - and my leading candidate: Aliens like Turkey - not strawberry ice cream as reported. Did you count drumsticks and dinner rolls?" *** i know he was tryin to be funny, but DANG, george! | |

| Winehippie: you are not being abducted.
Unexpected nosebleeds can be really scary and give pause for anxious moments. That coupled with internet sourced suggestions about alien abductions cant really help much either.
So let me state this: You are loved protected and cherished more than human minds can really know - the last few months have demonstrated this to you in many many waking moments of your life - many of which you have share with us here. There is NO WAY that you are being abducted.
My intuition is screaming all this at me right now. There is NO WAY ok!! You are being well looked after. That is not to say you will face down some tough challenges but alien abduction is not one of them (unless you want it to be!)
I think altitude is the best explanation - the ash (can be caustic in the right mix!) - coupled with low humidity.
The nose is a very important part of your bodies "prana" extraction system. If it gets damaged it will deploy a wide range of measures at its disposal to fix itself. Some of them can be really annoying!
You might want to check into "Neti". There is a thread on here about that somewhere - that helps a lot.
<Naturally, if it keeps happening report back.>
I get you as a rock of calm. (Well - most of the time)

| I have a question for you WH, do you suffer from high blood pressure? Nosebleeds are a common side efffect of high blood pressure (my dad gets them all the time). I also would think about what sky said about dryness of the nasal passages being the culprit. Are you using heat now? When you first use heat in the winter it drys all your mucous membranes out but you'll adjust. If you're burning wood make sure you put back some humidity in the air. It might be as easy as putting a pan of water on top of a wood burning stove if that's what you heat with. | |

| @ sky otter *** i have done my scan, my intuition says "yes, it is strange but i will be fine"
@ gabe *** the visit was exactly what i needed, it was fantastic, i missed you and it was gratifying to see that you noticed i was absent, brother
@ reunite *** i am grateful for your protection, seriously, and i try to do same for you, and our friends here...
@ mz biggz *** i am ok, thank you for wondering and supporting
@ A.. *** yes, i consider myself fairly calm, and your words make sense... i will continue to hydrate - i don't think i need to use the neti pot (my son uses one as he cares for his tenor voice and has allergies)
@ lightning *** no high blood pressure now, that i know of, when i was pregnant and gained 100+lbs, yes, but not anymore... we did start using heat and woodburning stove, i will set pan of water on burner immediately
