Subject: CLOSING OF THE CIRCLE Wed Oct 07, 2009 5:04 pm
I was born with asthma and nearly died several times as a very young child. My mother set up with me at nights when I had trouble breathing and rocked me with love and the power of a Mother/family.
I had three brothers that were not sick and very healthy, I was always the runt of the family and sickly. When I grew out of my asthma at the age of 11, I started to go nuts because of my opportunity to finally experience life as my brothers have enjoyed it for so long before me/to be normal.
I became the black sheep of the family that no one liked because i was so intense on living life to it's fullest because I had a bad and slow start.
I would not have survived without my Mothers help in my early years, and since that happened in my life, now my Mother is almost 90 years old and she needs help.
My Mother saved me and so I am pressed to help save my Mother as long as I can. This is a spiritual circle being completed by the act of Love, first on my Mom's part and now on my part. A family circle of love and trust connected to the Spirit that drives the whole thing in order to bring the proper balance to each of us both my Mom, and to me.
This is a karma thing, that I am sure you all know, but I must write it because i am compelled to.
Close all circles after consideration and be most thankful for all that you have.

your advice comes from life experience and the heart... thank you, i have heard you, gabe.... *** my ex was one of 10 children... he was in the middle somewhere and the majority were boys... *** he, too, was sick as a young child and his mother nursed him as Dee did you, and it seems as if the special bond is similar in both situations... *** he grew to be a "black sheep" in his family also.... but i feel that family dynamic has its roots in the resentment siblings felt when mother focused so much love around one... possibly to the <perceived> exclusion of the others... *** here, gabe:

Gabriel,
Its great that you feel this duty to your mother.
Ecclesiastes 3 has been popping into my mind a lot recently and it did just then.
Your post has made me contemplate the blockage that I have in my own relationship with my mother, what is more remarkable is that I also had asthma and nearly died when I was two. I had to miss bonfire nights and firework displays when I was small because I could not breath any smoke. It turned out that I was allergic to the little critters that live on dead feathers and once all the feather filled soft furnishings and pillows were removed from the house I was able to recover properly. On reflection, knowing what I now know, it was probably vaccines that triggered the whole problem. (That would have been around 1966)
A..

These experiences are indeed common with us. It is the circle phenomenon I find most fascinating. The way life runs in circles of cycles, and when the circles are closed a karmic loop seems to be fulfilled with us almost as if scripted or pre planned.
Hippy, I loved the video, and your experience with a karmic circle.....LOL. Life is a trip.
Anchor, that is interesting you had Asthma as well. Ecclesiastes 3 is a great word for this karmic loop/circle phenomenon as that is what that chapter is all about.....LOL It also made a great song by the rock band the Byrds....Your observation is right on.
