today's butterflies and flowers

i'm still in a learning curve with this new for me OS..but i think i have finally figured how to do more than one pic...
the flowers are not as nice as normal..everything is growing just a bit strangely..and there aren't as many butterflies as ususal
but there seems to be more types
so enjoy...really hot out there

dug garlic a few days ago and it is drying..potatoes to dig today or tomorrow

hubby has scaffolding in the garage for some electric stuff he is doing so we put some growing screens thur the lower rung..hahahahah and that is what you are seeing..area 51 of garlic, huh...very funny
there are 6 different kinds on there..can't wait to compare the taste

well the deer got most of the tomatoes and the tops of my potaoes the last couple of nights
don't know if you can see it on this pic or not..but the tops are all eaten
it shouldn't hurt the potatoes..but no tomatoes is a killer issue
that deer might be in our freezer for winter...



so we are re-evaluating moving the raised beds even closer to the house for next year..
and
if you look at the onions you can see how well the grass as mulch works for no weeds..

sigh..so much for the tomatoe juice this year..

Very well organized sky, brilliant to look at the veggies, the beautiful butterflies and your best friends furry friends, all great.

When you guys have all that heat up there we get the opposite so I feel for ya. Buggar on the tomatoes though.
