| it's really not BIG news, i realize, sorry if account will be anti-climatic.... *** first of all, i remembered a dream! you guys may remember that i posted in other threads that i never do, and that i have tried many techniques to do so.... it was not earth-shattering but it was lengthy and detailed and i was so excited.... *** then a LOT of things like this one: a friend called and offered to give me a ride to a meeting.... then another called to ask if i would need a ride - i said i already had one... she asked if i would need ride home and i said off the top of my head that i wasn't sure, that we might do lunch after.... next day, at meeting, the 1st friend did indeed suggest we do lunch.... (we all went together) *** on saturday, we had our 4th bbq at the post - i was bartending with a partner, she knows i have no money - she said, i want you to have all the gratuities - i said i appreciated, but that we were a team and i preferred to share 50 / 50..... i was firm, she gave in - then she won the raffle of $175 and so now SHE was firm, i was to get the tips cuz she won - we were both happy *** i went to "church" sunday - the chaplain of the post is the head honcho, i call him "preacher" and i love him to bits - i love to hear him speak and while you all know i do not hold with organized religion, this is different, there are only 10 or so people present usually, but i did have the desire to attend, and have only done so once before in the 18 months i have been here.... anyway, his sermon addressed very SPECIFICALLY a problem i have been experiencing with a few members, it was uncanny... he came to me, unaware of the problem, annointed my forehead with oil (i do not participate as far as taking the communion) and whispered some very encouraging words, on a personal level, and he lifted my spirit .... one of the personalities with which i had had the problem did not stay after to socialize - wonder why? *** sky posted about the cedar waxwing winged creature - i went to find out what it may have symbolized - i found that it symbolized "gentleness and courtesy" when added to medicine bag (which certainly fits our lil otter) but here's the thing - hours earlier, on the way home, there was a jack rabbit that hopped out onto the road, i was lucky to see him in the dark, and i slowed, and it hopped alongside the dirt road with me for quite a stretch before it veered off into the brush.... it delighted me, put a smile on my face, and when looking for the cedar waxwing info, i found this, too: the hare symbolizes "movements for divination, transformation, receiving hidden teachings and intuitive messages" *** oh my gosh *** this kind of thing is occurring daily - and it BLOWS ME AWAY! | |

| I love the stories Hippy and they are not anti climatic at all. Those things are supernatural elements that you notice and understand. It is the elements speaking to you and you respond to it by following through to attain more knowledge.
The things some may say are small things are most often the things most people overlook totally. It is the small things that can lead us as well as the big things as I am sure you know.
For example the person that did not want to stay at the service.....A sign for sure.
The jack rabbit another sign for sure.
The people offering you rides, blessings from God
The lady winning the drawing a sign to you for a bigger blessing to you
Your ability to go to an organized religious thing and not be changed in a bad way for doing it...Finding a blessing there another sign.
Your stories are just as important as any I might post.
You have pointed out to look for the small things and interpret.
Thanks for sharing. I love you Hippy.

| What I love about reading your stories Hipster is that they are so visual. I can see the rabbit hopping along the side of the road sharing a moment with you. | |

| ah hippie i missed this post yesterday..too hot here, i think thank you for looking up the waxwing..and how nice to add that and the bunny... ahhhhhhhhhhhhh isn't is absolutely wonderous to connect like that... that bunny knew you were kind and the universe wanted you to have yet another message but sister none of it would have mattered if your eyes and ears weren't open and you weren't paying attention we are pretty far from water..a creek in the hollow and the kiski river about a mile distant but some times the dragonflies will make the trip and i am ever so grateful for them and their reminder and message and sometimes i hear the word of wm. blake to see the world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower; hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour.. we are here ..now.. not just because we are the strongest of the strong but because we are paying attention we have found each other .. .. .. .. .. ....... ..... .. | |

| hey *** ok another synchronicity *** i had forgotten, which is why i feel i should journal, but when you guys first posted around the astronomy images and the lapis lazuli........ the stone from my ring fell out of its setting *** no shit *** i was at computer and noticed the empty space in the silver surround, and saw the stone on the floor at my feet *** the lapis has gold flecks in it.... its big, worn around either middle finger and i have had for quite a while, was a gift from my ex *** lots of women want diamonds and gold or platinum.... i have always been drawn to colored semi-precious stones and fine craftmanship in silver *** i am inspired to keep rocks and stones and earth samples from places where i have had spiritual experiences - just last week, i took 35mm film cannisters containing the fine powdery red dust from the cliffdwellings outside sedona and some gravelly sparkley dirt from yosemite and i layered them in a wine glass and then i arranged tiny bits and pieces of stone which i have collected - have saved the dirt for decades and added bits of amethyst, turquoise, rose quartz, lapis lazuli, onyx, tourmeline, garnets, jade, topaz, etc *** i put the glass with my statue of the padre *** sis just got back, she brought me a thin smooth love stone which i tucked in as a backdrop

| thanks, gabe.... do you know who the little statue represents? i found him in 1994, sealed behind a closed-off transom window when the ex and i were renovating the building we used as wine warhouse... the building had been occupied by mexican tenants for decades, so i am assuming the padre is mexican - also, any ideas on what he is holding? *** here is a pic of my freckley, hairy arm and bracelets i have been making: | |

| the whole thing is so delicately carved yet so simple ... he carries what looks like it may be a half loaf of bread...
no marks other than splits in the wood - he is flat on bottom and rests on a small rectangle of marble
his hat broke and i glued it back on, now it's no good for antiques road show
i don't know how long he was behind the transom
