Just a thought.

Are other animals acting strangely also. Scientist say that animals can sense impending earthquakes. I wonder if there are a number of dogs and cats acting strange also.

I may check lost ads in the san fran newspaper.

A bunch of bees keep randomly dying from my tree out front. Like in groups of 20. I thought my white trash neighbor sprayed our tree at first but then it happened a week later.

i have mother-advised my son, who is living in san francisco,
to keep an eye on lost pet ads, you are right mic, they spike...
i just do not want to think of the worst while he is there, or
at all, really - i was born in s.f. and i am concerned for her and
all the souls living there..... i have also advised him to have
a grab-n-go pack.... the thing is, i am not sure if he has
followed mumsie's advice.... perhaps it is time to drop him an email,
sorta a gentle nudge

which reported the sea lions disappeared
from pier 39 - lots at thanksgiving, none now
and the woman in charge of harbor says in
all her years, has never happened... please
make sure you have an adequate grab-n-go
pack and perhaps keep an eye on lost pet
ads - if they spike, be prepared

"Here in Monterey we used to have a good sized population of sea lions living at the Coast Guard pier...I could hear them at night from my backyard. They seem to have disappeared as well...so it's not just the Pier 39 sea lions. Very strange."

SAN FRANCISCO — "More than 1,500 sea lions that abruptly disappeared from San Francisco's Pier 39 may have gone 500 miles north to the central Oregon coast.

Officials with Sea Lion Caves, a private preserve near Florence, Ore., say huge pods of the animals — now numbering about 2,000 — began showing up in October, about the same time they started leaving Pier 39.

Kim Suryan, a biologist with the Marine Mammal Institute in Newport, Ore., says the numbers are much higher than usual.

About 1,700 sea lions were counted at Francisco's Pier 39 in October before they began leaving in droves after Thanksgiving.

Experts say it's strange for so many animals to be at the pier in the first place and then leave so suddenly.

They say the sea lions may have gone north for colder waters and food and could eventually return."

i'd say but i am not sure i take the word of MSM.....
