Machelle Wright is one half Hopi. Her story is remarkable. She began a small garden with her husband and was contacted by what she called nature devas.
Her story shares so much on so many different levels that it has its own category.
While she was learning how to garden from the nature devas she learned this valued lesson.
in brief:
She had just begun gardening in the traditional fashion of using herbicides and bought fertilizer, when her garden had been overtaken by beetles. The nature devas guided her to understand the plight of the beetles and make contact with them. She did so and learning to be in harmony with nature she gave 10% of her garden to the beetles to have as they wished.
She learned from the beetles of their plight and the damage of toxins used against them, and developed a compassion for them and they for her born in respect
The beetles honored their promised and went only to the allotted part of the garden, and Machaelle also kept her agreement to leave this 10% to the beetles.
Now one year there was a drought in her state and ration of water was instituted by the municipality.
Machealle did not use more water than what was allowed at this time but unlike her neighbors, her garden remained healthy and flourished.
She knows it was the nature devas who kept her garden healthy, as she was in harmony with nature and her natural laws.
The nature devas taught her how to make flower essences and what they do to heal the body.
She learned a great deal from them and shares her remarkable life with the nature devas in her books. The nature devas taught her about gardens in such a beautiful way that a great deal of her site is devoted to both what Ill call, holistic gardening, and the making of flower essences.
This personal walk in harmony with nature teaches everything from learning to discern spiritual deception, discipline and protection.
